קבוצת מגן שמש המוכרת בחו”ל כ SunShield Group  הוקמה ב-1997 על ידי אוריאל נתן, והיא כוללת את החברות מגן שמש פרויקטים בע”מ ואת מגן שמש פתרונות מיגון וציפוי בע”מ.

משרדי החברה והמערך הלוגיסטי ממוקמים במושב אורה הסמוך לירושלים.
הקבוצה מעניקה שירות בפריסה ארצית עם צוות של יועצים וצוותי התקנות מקצועיים, תוך הקפדה על רמת ביצוע גבוהה ועמידה קפדנית בלוחות זמנים ויעדים.

החברה מתמחה בציפוי זכוכית, ציפוי שמשות, ציפוי חלונות, ציפויים דקורטיבים, מיגון חלונות, מיגון שמשות, ציפויי אנטי סאן, ציפויי הגנה מקרינה, מיגון חלונות מפני פריצה, ציפוי זכוכית מפני הדף וציפוי חלונות בטיחותי, ציפויים כהים למיניהם וכיוצ”ב.
החברה מתמחה בייבוא , ייצוא, שיווק והתקנה של מגוון ציפויים לשמשות,הציפויים מותקנים על גבי זכוכיות קיימות ומשדרגים את יכולתיהן.

החברה מתמחה במיגון וציפוי שמשות, ציפוי חלונות, ובהתקנתם האיכותית על גבי זכוכית במבנים מסחריים,משרדים, בתים ,דירות ורכבים ומספקת מוצרים לשוק המתקינים הסיטונאי ולשוק הפרטי

מוצרי הציפוי והמיגון לחלונות המיובאים על ידי החברה עברו את כל התקנים המחמירים ביותר בתעשיית ציפוי החלונות והמפעל המייצר הנו בעל תו תקן ISO 9001 המקנה את תעודת האחריות הארוכה ביותר למוצרים המותקנים.

כמו כן מוצרי המיגון עברו בדיקות היתכנות מיוחדות ואושרו על פי תקן פדראלי אמריקאי מיוחד של ה-GSA. מוצרי המיגון מאושרים על ידי חברות הביטוח להתקנה כתחליף אמין לסורגים. כמו כן, נבדקו ואושרו לשימוש על ידי יועץ ראש הממשלה ומשרד הביטחון למיגון.
